Thank you, Buffalo. Mass Mob XIX at Saint Stanislaus Church on Buffalo’s east side was great. Without your support, Buffalo Mass Mob would not be able to do what it does. It was wonderful to come together at one of the city’s most historic churches. Saint Stanislaus is the cradle of Buffalo’s Polish community. To sit in its pews, you can’t help but to be struck by the church’s beauty and the history surrounding you. And to come together and worship like the forefathers and mothers of the parish did in the 1800s, it’s a sharing in the living breathing history of Saint Stanislaus.

Thank you, Father Mariusz Dymek and the Saint Stanislaus parish community for being wonderful hosts.

A special thank you to all the Polish community organizations that helped promote.

Here are photos taken by Buffalo Mass Mob’s Arthur Kogutowski from Sunday…they are beautiful.

It’s hard to believe that we have done sixteen Mass Mobs already. It’s also hard to believe that it’s almost one week since our last one at Holy Family Church.

These photos were taken by Buffalo Mass Mob organizer and our wonderful photographer Arthur Kogutowski. Arthur has a way of capturing each Mass Mob perfectly to get the sense of being there.

With each and every Mass Mob, we continue to be blown away by the support we receive from the Buffalo and Western New York community. We are also blown away by the passion and energy each church puts into hosting a Mass Mob.

Sunday’s Mass was incredible at Holy Cross Church. The parish community is a diverse mix of people with roots from all over the world. It still serves the local Italian-American community it was established for, but also people with origins in Puerto Rico, Cuba, Central and South America, Asia and Africa. The music during Mass reflected this with songs in different languages.

Thank you, Buffalo! And thank you, Holy Cross Church! Each Mass Mob is distinctly different. We are happy we can bring a large groups of people to Buffalo’s historic churches to celebrate together and give each one support.

Thank You Buffalo for Another Successful Mass Mob!

Buffalo Mass Mob XI at Saint Ambrose was the Mass Mob’s second appearance in South Buffalo. The crowds came. The Mass was fantastic. Father Richard “Duke” Zajac gave a powerful homily on the power of human touch. The Al Jazeera Network came to do a story on Mass Mob and interviewed all kinds of people. Their story will air in September around the time the Pope comes to America. Stay tuned.

Thank you to Our Lady of Charity Parish…especially Sister Fran Gangloff and Monsignor David Lee for helping us organize. And Tom Szypulski of the Al Jazeera Network for arranging to come to our great city to do a story on Buffalo Mass Mob.
